IACCC attends the inaugural OECD African Law Enforcement Network meeting

The IACCC attended the first OECD African Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Network (“African LEN”) meeting in Mauritius. The Africa LEN brought together more than 42 law enforcement officials from 16 countries, including 13 African jurisdictions, as well as representatives from 5 international organisations. The OECD LEN meetings provide a unique opportunity to discuss current trends for international cooperation and meet with fellow practitioners. The IACCC facilitated a panel and presented on its ongoing work within Africa. The IACCC Women Against Transnational Corruption Hub (WATCH) program sponsored two attendees. Women Against Transnational Corruption Hub, or WATCH, is an initiative within the IACCC that aims to strengthen anti-corruption agencies by empowering female practitioners within them through case-based support and mentorship, and by connecting women to a global network of resources.
